Arjen Robben scores the only goal in Holland’s match against Serbia & Montenegro. Brilliant pass from his team-mate, and a brilliant finishing by Robben sealed victory for Holland in their opening match.

Didier Drogba of Chelsea scores against Argentina for his country, Ivory Coast to make the score 1-2. Too late for a comeback though, Argentina won the match after scoring two goals in the first half.

Beautiful! Beautiful! That was what the commentator said about Javier Saviola’s goal. He seems to appear offside though from the video, but the goal stands according to the referee and gave a 2-0 lead for Argentina in this match against Ivory Coast.

A tap-in by Hernan Crespo, the Argentinian striker following a free kick. This is the first goal for Argentina as they start their World Cup campaign against Ivory Coast.

A freekick on the 4th minute was taken superbly by David Beckham, forcing Carlos Gamarra of Paraguay to put it at the back of his own net. A nice delivery from the free kick expert, Beckham I must say.
